First Day of the Mid-Years

Ok... Guess that's all that i've sowed, or did i put in hard work in the first place? The papers were real bad, bet i wouldn't pass unless my 40 MCQs guesses are all correct.

First paper, which is free response, out of the 6 qns, i got no idea how to answer for 2 of them. Which means 20 marks is gone. Then, follow on, the rest of the four questions, i just do whatever that i could, and chances for me to pass this paper is very slim. Marks attempted with confidence only 20+, couldn't even pass.

Second paper, 40 MCQs, turned out to be a killer! I bet it stunned the whole cohort except for those smart asses out there. I answered 20 of them using my instinct! OMG! But never look down on my instincts... 10 years of Singapore Education turned me into a MCQ freak. Just hope so...

Didn't expect the first day to be like this. Hope that tomorrow's paper which is Mathematics, will be much much easier. So simple that i could manage a pass. To be frank, I haven't attempted any of the tutorials and assignments for the covered topics in this mid-year examination. Needless to say, handing up to the tutor, for her to mark and discussed about my queries for the chapters. Guess i'm going to put all of my concentration into doing mathematics later on. And hopefully(again), I could manage to scrap pass tomorrow's examinations. Just a triple E and i will make sure i stunned everyone about my score. My parents will be amazed by the sudden improvements, my teachers will be astonished by my intelligence, my friends will be happy for me, and of course I will be lifting up head once again. Ok... enough of day-dreaming(should it be night?), the examinations were not even over yet, and here I am thinking about all the good stuffs. Sometimes, how i wished that my optimism would vanish, so that i could worry for my homework, tests and exams. Without the optimism, i would sure started mugging right now. But see... guess this characteristic of mine is staying with me for good.

Ok, just suddenly wanted to thank some of my friends, who never stopped to encourage to go on, especially through that arduous week after the teacher-parents session. First on the list, Songzhen. Thank you very very much, my pal! All the stuffs that i talked to you about in school, and how you encourage and console me. If you were not there for me to talk to, I would have stopped going to school. Haha... Next, Zhaorong! Although you didn't say anything... But i'm sure that you knew about my results. Whenever i see you, you always gave me the smile and the laughter that reminded me then fun that we had during our first three months in JJ. Thanks a lot... You are the one major factor that made me want to attend school everyday. Next, Arthur... Thanks a lot! Your constant bugging or should it be more like nagging, actually did made me a little guilty. Hence i studied a little just for your sake. Thanks man! If you are not there, sending me encouragements through SMSes, calling me on the phone, and giving my postcards. I would have totally given up on my studies. Thanks! Next, Bingyao! Heh, thanks a lot. You always never failed to talk to me, to tell me and teach me how to study. And whenever you questioned me whether i did study, actually made me want to go on. And you always said that i will make it, and without your assurance about my abilities, i wouldn't have come so far. I suddenly realised i actually had so many good friends. There is lots of them, my classmates, my council buddies, my best pals, buggers, bandmates, rockers. Thanks for all of your watever....(i'm lost of words) I'm so so so grateful to all of you. Thanks a lot!
Opps... Guess i forgotton the most important person. Nope i didn't forget, i just wanted to put her on another paragraph to show her importance to me. Thanks a lot, Siyi! Thanks! Your nagging has turned me into a motivated pupil. Your presence has turned me into a pupil who loves competition. Our conversation never fails to be stress-reliever at any time that we need it. Your SMSes, dragged me along with you towards studying. I appreciate all of that. Thanks a lot... Hehe... Also, your love, ok it will soon be turning into super ultra mushy stuffs which i'm too shy to put in here so that's the end of my THANK YOU list. Haha... is it a lot? Actually i still got some of them i missed out, so those who thinks that they deserved to be on the thank you list, can come forward and ask for some recognition. Hehe...

Ok... today's event...
Right after the papers, as a class, missing some of the usual ones, we went to Jurong Point. Thought we could have Long John Silver's, but it's fully-packed. So we chose KFC instead, due to it's emptiness. Hehe... Soon after we sat down and have our meal, a group of girls from my former secondary school(Pioneer, for those who still don't know where i came from) sat right behind me. Chonglong, who is sitting facing me, could have a clear look at them. He was obviously disgusted if i'm not wrong. (LAUGHING FRANTICALLY IN FRONT OF MY MONITOR NOW...) He said, "Really, girls from your school never fail to astound me." I replied with laughter. A school filled with gangsters, needless to say, the culture is really quite bad over there. Frankly speaking, i'm really kind of relieved that i'm getting out of that school and getting into JJ. I just couldn't set myself to the settings of the school. So i obviously didn't quite enjoyed my 4 years stay over there. Seriously, i had no sense of belonging for that school at all. Haha... Back to the girls, Chonglong didn't say much about it. Guess he is really disgusted. Haha... Then, i took a bus back home. Watched Animal Planet... Discovery... MTV... I just love channel hopping. Sorry for those who watched TV with me and had a bad time. Played all the way until 6.30 then i made a phonecall to Siyi. Then, watched Monkey God(comedy), really had a good laugh! Then, just typing non-stop until now. Haha... couldn't believe that i actually typed that much for today. OK, shall stop here. Thanks for reading, thanks for wasting your time. See you tomorrow! Wish me best of luck for tomorrow's paper. Thank you!
