So Slack!
Today's lessons are really slacking. So glad that today's mood was not dampen by any freak...(was so screwed by that indian freak yesterday! haha!) I was quite blur this morning, probably due to the reason that i was on the phone until 12 with Siyi. Hence, i didn't sleep enough, so wasn't that alert and awakened. I actually left my bag at the flagpole during the morning assembly. But after the dismissal, i went back to council room thinking that i left my bag there... How stupid! Haha...
Then, got to run back to the flagpole to get my bag.
In the first lesson, Mr Chin (highly intelligent being), came in with a pissed off look. I knew something was going to be darn wrong if one of us triggers the danger button on him. Unfortunately, Dennis (opposite spelled as SINNED... was the first to commit a sin of triggering the danger button), he was busying SMSing in the class. Mr Chin, usually very tolerant of all these crap, suddenly reprimanded Dennis. He even asked Dennis whether he wants to stay in the class to study, or get out of the class to do his SMS. I've never ever seen him incurring his wrath on us. It was horrible! I'm freaked out at that time. Then, after recess, i skipped Maths Lecture. I think it's a waste of time, so i gathered some of my classmates to go to the computer labs to complete the Chemistry assignments for the upcoming Chemistry tutorial. Then, everything was fine until the bell rang. So glad that nothing bad is coming my way.
Then, band started. Not sure whether is it the influence of the other bandmates. Everyone is just so into training their own parts. While i started confirming all the percussion parts for the repertoire. Especially when percussion instruments can go up to 10 - 12 pieces. It is very difficult to allocate the players. Copies of the scores are also not enough. Got to wreck my own wallet to photocopy, got to wreck my brains thinking of allocation, got to wreck my hands by practising hard. I think all this effort towards the concert is a bit too over-prepared. Haha... Being a slacker in band for so long, this is the first time i'm so serious into getting things right. Guess it's not only the responsibility of a sectional leader, but also because my girlfriend is the President. So i have to assist her in any ways by getting my own section moving. This may be the least that i can do to help her i think. Really hope that this year's Memoir will be a much better experience from last year. Althought last year's was already great for me... but i always pursue greater height. Hope that experience counts... and also hardwork...
Saw the group of Elects today. I'm actually quite worried for them... Not in terms of them not doing a good job for the upcoming leadership camp. But more of the part towards their results for their mid-years. I saw them slogging for council work even during the exam period. It is really absurd! But too bad, jobs don't always come easy. Glad that tomorrow is the first day of the camp. Hope that they could enjoy the experience of the camp and gain some knowledge from there, than being bothered by the fatigue and scoldings they will get in the camp. All the best to you guys, even though i'm not involving in training you guys. But i'm sure the ex-games comm will not disappoint me. Hehe... Good Luck!
