No mood ar...

I stayed at home for the whole day! Nothing seems to be able to attract me out from my home. Even when my parents want to bring me out for dinner, i rejected them. Even when GT and CL called me on the cell, to ask me to accompany them at town to chill out. I didn't want to go too. Haha! I was thinking what happened to me. Maybe i'm just too anxious to watch Zhaomin tonight. So i decided to stay at home the whole day, to prevent myself from missing the show. After many times of turning on and off the computer, turning on and off the air-con, the lights, the fan, the TV. I open the fridge many times too. Everything was just so bored. Okay, i know what all of you are thinking. Why i didn't use the time to go do something constructive like revision and study right? Just as what Arthur told me, I'm suffering from Academphobia. A kind of phobia that is obviously talking about academic studies. So i just slacked through the whole day just like this. Watch 15 mins TV, play 15 mins Internet, drum for 15 mins, look for something to eat. Nap for 30 mins in front of the TV. Repeating this process for the whole morning and afternoon. Everything that a bored person will do, i completed it. Feeling stupid too, i can't stop looking at my cell for messages. But there's nothing at all until now. Even though, received two calls, which is very rare for me. But funny thing was, there were no messages at all. Wanted to go online to chat with someone, but almost all of my classmates were either in town or at home too sick to be online. GT, CL and Marc were in town today. But Marc wasn't with them, he was with another group of people. Really wondered if they had an interesting da. But i always agreed that this clique that comprises of CL, GT, Marc, ZY and I, is one interesting group, never ever felt bored being with them. Bound to have jokes and more insider stories to share. GT called me last night to ask me about whether to go LAN gaming today or on Monday. Then, after much discussion, we decided to put it on Monday. Really looking forward to it! Haha! Guess i'm really addicted to it. But not to the extent that i have to call someone to talk about my plans. Hahaha! (not like CL!)

Zhiyu is really one poor soul. I really felt like talking to him to kill his boredom at home, as well as mine. But after much thought, i decided not to disturb his rest. He developed a fever after a night's sleep, probably due to soccer session as he said, then he vomited in the morning! Then, have to queue like bloody long in the polyclinic before he could get his blood tested. I queued up in the polyclinic twice, when i'm in sec four. I'm sort of weak and sick at that period of time, just keep looking up the doctor. And i also don't know for what stupid reason that triggers me to look for a public doctor. Should have just go to the usual private clinic to have myself checked up properly and fed with the correct medicine. I'm not criticising that the polyclinic are giving the wrong medicine, maybe they are not giving the right one. Not as effective as those that i recieved in the private clinics. Probably due to their heckcare attitude, because they have to go through numerous patients, swarming in their way for cheap consultation fees. I always hated the feeling of going to polyclinic. I will never ever go back to any of the polyclinic ever. Unless it's air-con, armed with high entertainment power that makes sure i'm not bored. Probably i will give it a second thought. Talked about entertainment, and killing boredom. I'm really quite amused by that new Nokia Advertisement with the clowns that parachute down to the place where the man was really bored waiting for a bus. Haha!

Haha! I found the topic! It's about drumming. Currently retired, with all my sticks in the retirement shelves. Only left with one active pair with me, for me to practise if i have the mood. Now, the feeling of being part of a band, is no longer familiar to me. Being part of a band for more than 11 years. But the primary school one was atrocious. I knew nothing at that time. Totally just followed and slack my way through. Only in secondary one, then i know how to properly read a score and read the notes. Then, everything will came to my way. Those rudiments, rolls, drumset beats. Even went to Yamaha to enrol myself under the drummer from Quest. He's old but filled with the X-factor. Whenever he tries to show me something new, i will for sure give him some kowtows. Inspired by him, and also the seniors that i saw, like Daniel and seniors from Bowen Sec. All of them played a part in moulding me into a such an unaccomplished drummer. Haha... Probably due to the reason of my inversatility, i'm been playing Percussion 1 (bassdrum or snaredrum or drumset) throughout my music life. Never did i ever make a change or do something to it. So i just lived with it, lived with the fact that i can't play notes at all. Could only obediently play the rhythms... haha! I was wondering whether all the hardwork that i put in, all the attention that i focused on my sticking would go down to the drain if i stop here. Stop as in not joining any band anymore. Then, came Nizam, the chaperone that i met during Band Fest 2003. He suggested me to join Musart after my As, he felt that i'm up to it. Shouldn't be giving up the skills that i learnt and practised throughout all these years. Come to think of it, i'm actually very very unlucky. Got into lousy bands, never had a chance to move up really high so that i could get myself lots of exposure. Nizam even told me that i could get myself in a place for the snare in Singapore National Youth Orchestra. But you know, tough luck, i may have the skills but i don't have the chance. Or maybe i'm even too lousy to be anywhere. I'm just so happen to be great because i don't have competitors along my way. Almost all that came got defeated, or we were on par. Maybe i should really get it a try, go to Musart, see where i stand with my kind of standard. If i'm somewhere above average, should be counting myself lucky and also talented. And really if i'm that good, i may continue. Or else i may just go after a while, telling them that i'm not up to it. Haha! Never a loser right? Haha! Chose to quit than being a loser! I'm a smartass. Haha! Ok that's all... shall share with you all more about my drumming experiences next time!
